A boma fire slab finished with mosaic tiles made from specialist refractory clay that can take heat as it has virtually zero thermal expansion. Measures 1200mm in diameter. Has mild steel trim, stand, charcoal grid and ash catcher. Includes 2 eyelets to take various accessories such as a grid, light holder and potjie hook or wok holder.
An ash catcher and a charcoal grid are included with each fire slab. The fire slabs are weather resistant although we suggest the accessories be kept indoors when not in use. The mild steel trim and accessories may require periodic minor touch-ups.

Description
Designed for use as fire slabs which can double as braais. They are made from fire clay which is a refractory material that can take heat because it has virtually zero thermal expansion.
The fire slabs are available in three sizes and are able to take a variety of optional accessories. The mosaic style consists of small stoneware clay tiles on the outside and larger, heat resistant, refractory clay tiles on the inside.
An ash plug and a small charcoal grid are included with each fire pit. The ash plug is made with mild steel. Even when ordering the stainless steel finishes.The fire slab are weather resistant although we suggest the accessories be kept indoors when not in use. The stainless steel trim and stand is painted black. Test that it is stainless steel – a magnet won’t stick to it.
